Little Crumbles' first day was September 10, 2001, a day before the tragic events of 9/11. Over the past 24 years, Little Crumbles has evolved from a humble infant care home into the Large, Licensed Family Child Care. Our committed staff exceeds the State of California's Licensing staff/child ratio requirements, ensuring safety and support for early learners 3 months - 5 years. With a spacious property, we believe that more hands, eyes, and guidance are essential.
We prioritize our staff's well-being, encouraging them to take time for family and self-refreshment to prevent burnout and rapid staff turnover.
Additionally, we are proud to have high school senior helpers in the late afternoon, enriching our childcare environment with their enthusiuasm.
LITTLE CRUMBLES embraces child led play based learning, which leads to early literacy. This approach supports how young children develop literacy skills. Play does not have to connect directly to a literacy-based activity to foster a child's development. In fact, a child cannot play without building essential skills that will support them when it comes to reading and writing.
